Pharmacy Services supports clinicians and physicians by providing accurate and timely pharmaceutical care and education. We are currently seeking an Oncology Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC), the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers. CRMC is home to the only Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive burn center in the Valley serving 2.5 million people within 9 counties. We are also affiliated with one of the top medical schools in the nation, University of California San Francisco Medical School, which offers our employees the opportunity to work and round with some of the brightest physicians and medical specialists in the nation.Your Pharmacy Career at Community | Opportunity. Growth.Responsibilities:As an Oncology Pharmacist, your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:* Provides delivery of clinical pharmacy services, drug information and monitoring of pharmacotherapy to a specific patient population.* Reviews drug orders and checks work completed by ancillary personnel in the department.* Serves as drug expert and consultant to physicians, nursing staff and other hospital personnel.* Responsible for participating in pharmacy student and resident education.* Provides quality assurance review of drug utilization throughout the hospital for various medical staff committees and the department.Qualifications:Experience and education minimum requirements:* Doctorate of Pharmacy degree (Pharm D)* 1 year of a pharmacy residency or 2 years of qualified work experienceLicense and certification minimum requirements:* A valid State of California Pharmacist license* Current BLS certification* Current ACLS or PALS certificationPreferred qualifications* Experience or specialized training in an Oncology settingHave questions?
