ABC Technologies’ core business as an Automotive Tier 1 supplier is in the Design, Development and Production of plastic automotive systems and components for OEMs worldwide.

THE OPPORTUNITYThe Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process.

This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience.

The Recruiter is responsible for the entire candidate experience as it relates to the hiring of professionals in all areas the company, with a particular focus on Engineering.

It will strategically partner with management to help them achieve their hiring goals and objectives and provide targeted, just in time recruiting services to our hiring management through extensive pipeline of talented candidates.

The Recruiter needs to have a strong ability to attract and identify passive candidates via networking and active searching, and to build solid relationships with candidates.

The Recruiter also needs to excel at articulating the unique organizational values that ABC Technologies has to offer to candidates.

Responsibilities: WHAT YOU WILL DO:This position will be located at our US HQ in Southfield, MI, but will be recruiting for all of the positions located at our Corporate HQ in Toronto, Ontario.Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipelineFill open reqs from a variety of business units, (Finance, Human Resources, Sales) but a particular focus on Engineering for both corporate and our manufacturing plants.Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screeningsTake ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirementsFacilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment termsManage onboarding and new hire processStay abreast of recruiting trends and best practicesManage the overall interview, selection, and closing processEnsure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations Qualifications: WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEMinimum Qualifications:Diploma or degree in Human Resources or equivalentMinimum 2 years hands-on experience in a HR role preferably in a manufacturing facilityExceptional customer services and communication skills, both written and verbalStrong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all timesOrganizational skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPublic relations and problem solving skills, with the ability to implement effective solutionsPresentation and training skills, with the ability to present information in a clear, concise mannerProficient with Microsoft Office Suite
