Accountemps is hiring a Payroll Clerk for one of our clients in the Construction/Engineering industry—if you want to join a dynamic, fast-growing team, you are encouraged to apply! The Payroll Clerk will be tested for speed and accuracy; Ten Key and Data Entry Alphanumeric, along with basic Payroll Functions and Microsoft Excel. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM. The company is a diverse business with potential for growth and movement after the temporary to hire period of time. In this position, your duties will include supporting the Payroll department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should have strong communication skills so to effectively correspond between teams, like the internal team and outside customers. This employment opportunity will be on a long term temporary-to-fulltime basis. – Deep understanding of 10 Key – Solid understanding of payroll – Command of data entry – Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired – Outstanding data entry skills – Be detailed, flexible, and organized – Proficient in Payroll software – Ability to easily learn new systems – 1+ years of previous payroll experience – Strong organization skills
