Inventory Control Clerk

Exact Staff is currently seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for the Fresno, Ca area.

nn nn General Responsibilities: This position is responsible for keeping the inventory accurate through cycle counts.

This position also assists in production scheduling, logistics, and the administration of quarterly inventories, and intercompany transfers.

Additionally, responsible to support or back up operational activities at the direction of the Operations Manager.nn nn Essential Duties: nn Cycle count of all raw materials, finished goods, and WIP (work in progress) per the cycle count schedule Backup for production control; scheduling plant production periodically and covering scheduling as needed (i.e.

vacations and/or split shifts worked) Enter production daily Follow company protocol and procedure for counting and making inventory adjustments Analyze and troubleshoot problems with inventory and/or cycle counts in a timely fashion Responsible for keeping the inventory as accurate as possible utilizing reports and investigation Consolidate all core, jacket, and FG as needed while performing cycle counts Ensure all product is in its proper place while counting Assist in manager lead quarterly and annual inventories Maintain organization and rotating of stock materials Responsible for tracking non-inventoried items and keeping inventory stocked at all times Work directly with purchasing, logistics, and operations manager to assist in all inter-company transfer Keep labels organized and fully stocked in the production office Must be able to drive an industrial forklift Backup for logistics coordinator and assist shipping as needed All other duties as assigned by the plant operations manager nn Safety/Physical Requirements: nn Must adhere to all company safety regulations and policies Must wear eye protection as required Must wear gloves as required While performing essential duties, the employee is required to stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, lift, and climb a ladder The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 50 pounds Requires working in an unconditioned environment nn Qualifications: nn Strong verbal and written communication and math skills required Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, some college preferred Driver’s license and Forklift experience required with current forklift certification preferred Extremely detail-oriented and meticulous with good organizational skills Must have a general understanding of computers with data entry skills Strong clerical skills to help with any organizational and recording responsibilities Must be self-motivated A minimum of 3 years of experience in production and inventory control is preferred Ability to take direction from management and work independently with minimal supervision n n Job Requirements: n nn Hiring Requirements: nn 6 months of recent work history (i.e.
