Quality Assurance Technician

Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for a local Manufacturer for the Consumer Product Industry.

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing visual inspection, sample QC analysis and conduct sample testing required for research, development, or quality control of consumer products.

This opportunity is full-time, permanent with lucrative base salary and benefit.

· Oversee the quality assurance process of sample, products, raw materials, conduct visual inspection based on specifications and generate QA reports accordingly.

· Communicate with suppliers, procurement, product management, production, customers on testing results, address any non-conformance issues and suggest corrective action as needed.

· Conduct analysis among testing reports, QA reports and sampling reports, compare factory samples with customer specifications and quality complaints.

· Collaborate with new product develop and designers, based on new product specification to conduct quality control on samples, communicate with procurement, sales and related cross functional team to ensure proper products or raw materials are sourced and procured.

· Provide support, training to suppliers on customer quality specification, lead supplier quality management and qualification, as well as engage in supplier correct action on quality issues.

· Issues declaration to customers regarding quality conformity of products, partner with customers with additional quality inquires, complaints, etc.

· Document defects with conciseness, accuracy, and details to ensure defects are not reproduced
· Investigate quality issues, identify root cause and suggest CAPA and improvement process to avoid recurring quality issues
· Investigate return, customer complains on product quality, document complains and quality issues along with corrective action reports.

· High school diploma, higher education desired.

· Recent years of experience as QA Technician within manufacturing, consumer products, or related industries.

· Proficient with basic measurement and QC tools.

· Strong attention to details, strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to establish rapport with various personnel and hold people accountable.

· Superior communication skills and people skills.

· Ability to work independently and work well as a team member, ability to prioritize among projects and meet deadlines.

Job Requirements: Bring fresh ideas and innovative concepts to higher education foodservice Develop, and maintain test scripts for regression testing Carry out calculations and prepare documentation that show the results of tests Conduct Routine Maintenance on equipment located within the physical laboratory./li Understand the overall technical architecture and how each automation feature is implemented Ensure the Bank and client needs Assist in implementing new processes and ensure other testers Serve sandwiches, salads and other cold food items Ensure FDA/ISO/GMP compliance and to provide basis for continuous improvement Demonstrate flexibility in problem solving, providing risk-based options towards challenges for Management review and decision making Provide, discuss or recommend process improvements and corrections Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality Ensure that substandard product is identified Use the ERP system to receive material and close work-orders after quality checks have been performed Assist in testing components of small to medium complexity projects and may report progress to key stakeholders Releasing Powder Room production and periodic inspections of production
