Job Purpose

Responsible for territory sales, positive net cash flow, building new and maintaining existing relationships with Advisor Channel financial advisors at wirehouse and independent firms.

Sales are driven through segmentation of advisors, a consultative sales approach, meetings, seminars and training workshops.

Key Responsibilities
Strategically plan and manage resources to maximize territory sales using industry and firm data, territory zones, and prioritizing advisors.

Develop and manage a strong and active pipeline.

Responsible for budgeting expenses efficiently.

Work in conjunction with a Relationship Coordinator (internal) to identify and foster leads generated from segmentation, referrals, ad campaigns, and territory canvassing.

Partner with other parts of Voya’s business.

Travel required, overnight travel required.

Voya CRM usage required.

Minimum of 20 appointments per week in the field conducting one on one meetings, presentations, seminars, workshops and branch meetings.

Qualifications
Must have at least a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.

5+ years of sales experience wholesaling mutual funds to advisors in specified region.

Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience preferred.

Series 7, 63, 66/65 licenses required.

Strong organizational skills, a creative business mind and the ability to manage the territory effectively.

Ability to create and deliver effective presentations, seminars, workshops and branch meetings to current and prospective Advisors.

Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices.

Standout colleague with a strong ability to work independently and to communicate clearly and concisely.

Ability to grow a territory as measured by sales and persistency of business over multiple years.

Must reside in territory.
