This position is in Cargills protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.Shift: 2ndCompensation: $25.50/hrBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug InsuranceHealth and Wellness IncentivesPaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) with Cargill matching contributionsFlexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)Short-Term Disability and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee DiscountsJob DescriptionTS Lead will be under supervision of the Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Department.Manage food safety and quality inspections.Monitor product and confidently uphold product quality.Monitor product and confidentiality uphold product quality.Train personnel to identify between acceptable product and product that does not meet Cargills quality standard.Instruct and support line employees on job performance.Assist FSQR supervisor with everyday production floor operations and communicate any immediate findings to the supervisor effectively.Assist support, and cover tech positions in the absence of others.Manage techs annual training and new hires training.Help manage the production floor during small scale contaminations, incidents, findings.Manage FSQR techs schedules, coverage, and breaks.Communicate with other department Leads, supervisors, and managers on the production floor.Lead and manage product inspections when applicable.Provide support for the area SuperintendentInternal Employees: Good attendance/safety record requirements are as follows: 4 points or less on attendance and no written warnings in safetyPrincipal Accountabilities50% Completed monitoring / verifying knowledge of one or more TS monitoring Area(s)25% SOP training sign off for general TS training and for all monitoring checks in one or more area(s)15% Competency training acceptable direct observation per SOP training Sign off10% Other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsAbility to speak, read, and write in EnglishMust have Microsoft Excel Skills.Able to lift, pull, and push 40 pounds.Have the flexibility and availability for shift coverage based on business needs Preferred QualificationsPast food safety/quality experience in the processing industry.Leadership experience in a processing facility environmentConsidered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
